This build focuses on competence and keeping a general 40/60 heal to damage boost ratio similar to competitive. You will be healing closer to 50/50 at the beginning of the build, but as your healing increases in power, ideally it will eventually shift to 70/30 damage boost and healing with you doing the majority of the team’s healing. This is not a pocket build, this is a team-based build. Yes you will have your preferred beam target, but unless that person is hard carrying, it’s more effective for you to be playing with the rest of your team and occasionally flying across the map to assist them.
This is what I start with every stadium match. It has additional healing and a little bit of survivability.

You probably have pretty good positioning and may not need to rely on Blessed Boosters to keep you alive for one more round. Build as much weapon power/attack speed as you possibly can using the mid-game item list. Try to keep the stats even with each other.

I know that right now the majority of Mercy builds revolve around tank and building survivability. This is an alternative to the tank/rez/valkyrie build, because I don’t believe all that extra protection is necessary. If you feel the same, I hope this build serves you well. I could not have made some of these discoveries without the lovely Mercy community on Reddit. Big shoutout to all of you who messaged me and helped me fine-tune the build over the last couple days. Try it out and see what works best for you, this is my go-to as it works best for me, but that does not mean it will immediately make you a better player.
